With its distinctively striped metasoma and earthy tan-to-brown coloration, this species is a natural showpiece for any arid vivarium setup.
Despite its intimidating desert origins, the Lesser Stripe Tail is a manageable species for intermediate keepers β active enough to be engaging, yet not overly defensive. It thrives in a dry, sandy enclosure with plenty of hides and minimal humidity, making it an excellent candidate for a naturalistic desert display.
