Retail Terms of Service (TOS):
Orders are typically shipped on the Tuesday following your order placement. However, holidays, order volume, weather, or other factors may affect your shipping day. If an order needs to be shipped on a day other than the following Tuesday, you will be contacted by email to coordinate a new shipping day. You may request specific shipping days in the order notes and we will do our best to accommodate or we will contact you to set up a different date.
You must be 18 years or older to purchase venomous invertebrates and reptiles. By ordering, you acknowledge that you have met the minimum age criteria for your order.
Live Arrival Guarantee “LAG,” will only be granted to orders which ship overnight. We will ship most orders via FedEx, however, we can, at our discretion, sometimes ship through UPS.
Overnight shipping orders will be assessed a $49.99 shipping fee to be held for pick up at the nearest hub, or $64.99 direct to your address. Texas only, overnight shipping orders, will be assessed a $43.99 shipping fee and held at the FedEx hub for pickup.
USPS Priority Mail may be used for some invertebrate (non venomous) orders and is a flat rate of $18.50 per box. There is no LAG on USPS orders. No arachnids, centipedes, or reptiles will be shipped via USPS.

If your local temperatures are below 45 degrees for a high or below 35 degrees for a low, we may automatically select FedEx HUB pickup regardless of the shipping option selected at checkout.
If your local temperatures are above 90 for a high, we may automatically select FedEx HUB pickup regardless of the shipping option selected at checkout.
There will be no refunds for the difference in shipping if your local temperatures dictate that we hold your package at the HUB.
You may elect to receive freebies from the website based on order size. Only one freebie per order will be sent, and no LAG will be offered on freebies. The exact species sent is at the discretion of Ty Dye Exotics. A freebie must be added to your cart in order to be sent.
All listed sizes are approximate, and some variation will occur. They are listed as diagonal legspan for spiders. These animals will grow in our care and we don't always update sizes as animals grow.
There is no minimum order.
Ty Dye Exotics is not responsible for DOA's (dead on arrival) due to carrier delay. If carrier delay occurs, your order will not be covered by our LAG agreement.
You must notify Ty Dye Exotics within 3 hours of pick up or drop off of any DOA animals to be covered by our LAG agreement. DOA's are to be reported to tydyeexotics@gmail.com. We may require proof via pictures.
Shipping charges will be waived for all orders that opt for local pick up in Cleveland, Texas.
Weather or holidays may delay your delivery schedule.
It is the customers job to know their local laws and Ty Dye Exotics will not be held responsible for any confiscated packages.
All sales are final, there will be no refunds unless your item falls under our LAG agreement and a replacement is not available. Any refunds will be returned via the same method of payment.
Cancelled orders and DOA's will be given store credit. Short stock animals from inventory will be given a refund. If a refund is given to a cancelled order, which is strictly at our discretion, a 6% processing fee will be withheld. We have processing fees and other expenses which are not refunded to us when we refund your order. We may require proof of extraordinary circumstances to approve your cancelled order refund.
If an item is paid for, and the customer is unavailable for receiving the order, Ty Dye Exotics will hold the item as “Sold” for one month before returning it to inventory. If an item is returned to inventory due to failure to accept shipment or locally pick up, no refund or replacement will occur.
Ty Dye Exotics will require a full name, phone number, address, and email address of the intended recipient prior to shipping.
If an item falls under our LAG agreement, the item will be replaced if available or a credit will be issued less the shipping cost. Shipping costs are not reflected in our LAG agreement and will not be refunded. If a replacement order is sent out, the customer will be responsible for replacement shipping costs. We will only refund items that are in short stock. DOA's will be given store credit.
In the event a customer provides an agreed upon inventory trade of animals, there will be no LAG agreement. Trades are considered a cashless transaction, and will not be due a refund or reship. Trades are at the risk of the “traders.” Ty Dye Exotics will still ship with the full expertise, insulation, heat/cold packs, etc, for trades, and DOAs are usually only an issue with carrier delay.
Return Policy: Ty Dye Exotics does not accept returns on live animal shipments.
Please be aware that with the holiday season upon us, and there will be some disruption to shipping services. Our last day to ship orders before Thanksgiving is Monday 11/25/24, shipping will resume Tuesday 12/3/24. Also, please note that our last day to ship in December will be 12/18/24, shipping after that will resume 1/7/25. Any orders that come in beyond the day before our last shipping day will be resumed at the next safest day to ship. Thank you for your understanding!
