📦 Shipping Schedule
We ship orders Monday through Wednesday. Most orders are shipped the next available shipping day after purchase.
  - You may request a specific shipping day in your order notes — we’ll do our best to accommodate or contact you if adjustments are needed.
 
- Tracking information is sent to the email address provided at checkout.
 
- It is the customer’s responsibility to check their email (including spam/junk folders) for shipping updates and tracking details.
 
🔞 Age Requirement
You must be 18 years or older to purchase venomous invertebrates or reptiles. By placing an order, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
🚚 Shipping Methods & Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG)
  - LAG only applies to Overnight Shipping.
 
- Most shipments go out via FedEx, but UPS may be used at our discretion.

What is Hub Pickup?
This is delivery to a local FedEx Ship Center, where your package can be picked up directly—helping reduce travel time and exposure to temperature extremes.
 
📬 USPS Shipping (Non-Venomous Invertebrates Only)
  - Flat Rate: $18.50 per box
 
- No LAG on USPS shipments
 
- USPS excludes arachnids, centipedes, and reptiles
 
🎁 Free Shipping
Orders over $500 ship free via FedEx Hub Pickup (Overnight).
🌡️ Weather Conditions & Shipping Adjustments
We may modify your shipping method based on weather conditions to ensure animal safety:
  - If your local temps fall below 45°F high / 35°F low or above 90°F high, we may automatically switch to FedEx Hub Pickup, regardless of the option you selected.
 
- If temps are below 32°F high / 25°F low, above 100°F high, or there's a 40°F+ difference between origin and destination, we may delay shipping.
 
- Shipping fees will not be refunded or adjusted in these cases.

📏 Animal Sizes
All listed animal sizes are approximate.
  - For spiders, the size refers to diagonal legspan.
 
- Animals may grow in our care and may not always be relisted with updated sizes.
 
🐾 Dead on Arrival (DOA) & LAG Claims
  - Carrier delays void LAG eligibility.
 
- DOA claims must be reported within 3 hours of delivery or pickup, based on your local time zone.

- Photos may be required to verify claims.
 
- If a package is held for pickup (e.g., at a FedEx Hub), and it is not picked up the same day it becomes available, the Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG) is void.
 
🏠 Local Pickup
Local pickups are available in Cleveland, Texas.
  - No shipping charges apply for local pickups.
 
⚖️ Legal Compliance
You are responsible for knowing your local and state laws regarding the animals you order.
  - We are not liable for confiscated or seized shipments.
 
💰 Refunds, Cancellations & Store Credit
  - All sales are final.
 
- Refunds are only issued under the LAG policy when a replacement is not available.
 
- Cancelled orders receive store credit by default.
 
Exceptions:
  - Refunds for cancellations are at our discretion and incur a 6% processing fee.
 
- We may request proof of extraordinary circumstances before approving a refund.
 
- Animals that are short-stocked or unavailable will be refunded.
 
📦 Unclaimed Orders
If an item is ordered but not claimed (via delivery or local pickup) within 30 days, it will be returned to inventory with no refund or replacement.

Before shipping, we require the following:
  - Full name
 
- Phone number
 
- Email
 
- Shipping address
 
🔁 LAG Replacements
We may replace DOA (Dead on Arrival) items at our discretion, based on current inventory levels.
  - If a replacement is not available, store credit will be issued.
 
- Customers are responsible for shipping fees on replacement orders.
 
- Refunds are only issued if an item is out of stock and cannot be replaced.
 
- Tracking information is sent to the email provided at checkout.
 
- It is the customer’s responsibility to check their email for tracking updates.
 
- If a package is held for pickup and not picked up the day it becomes available, the LAG will be voided.
 
🔄 Trades
Trades are considered inventory-for-inventory swaps and:
  - Are not eligible for LAG, refunds, or reships
 
- Will be packaged with care — but are shipped at your own risk
 
🔙 Return Policy
We do not accept returns on any items, including:
  - Live animals
 
- Dry goods
 
- Enclosures or accessories
